How to use it

Use session status as a liquidity context filter.

PairPilotFX does not infer that an instrument is automatically attractive because a session or overlap is active. Session context tells you when major financial centres are operating; structure, liquidity, confirmation, and risk still determine whether a scenario deserves attention.

Reference windows

DST-safe by design.

Each session uses its market's IANA timezone rather than a fixed UTC offset. That keeps London, New York, and Sydney transitions aligned through daylight-saving changes while Tokyo remains on Japan Standard Time.

These are PairPilotFX reference windows for the decentralized FX market, not official exchange opening or closing bells.

Next filter

Timing tells you when. Preparation tells you whether.

Continue through Context → Strength → Structure → Liquidity → Confirmation → Risk before considering execution.

Session note

Market participation varies by instrument, venue, holiday, event risk, and trading conditions. An active session or overlap does not imply a specific level of liquidity or provide a BUY/SELL signal.
